The Data Center
Choosing a data center that could meet our needs was a daunting task. After exhaustive research, we choose to host our servers within the SingleHop DC in Chicago. It's SAS 70 Type I compliant facility, with physical access control, remote CCTV security, bio-metric security devices and emphasis on energy conservation was just icing-on-the-cake. The cherry-on-top is the built-in redundancy which extends all the way to the supporting engineers.

The Operating Systems
You can choose between Linux or Windows Server. Each comes in two flavors and each provides unique technology to meet different hosting needs. For Linux, you can choose CentOS (with cPanel) or a vanilla installation of Debian. Windows Server comes in Standard Edition or Web Edition.
